What Physicians said about the Pelvic Trainer ?
As a Gynecologist specializing in Menopausal Medicine and Intimacy Counseling, I have to say that The Pelvic Trainer is genius.
The last 15 years of my career has been devoted to taking care of post-menopausal women whose primary health concerns are loss of flexibility and mobility, joint pain, incontinence, menopausal symptoms, and loss of intimacy.
Sometimes I think that my number one medical order for care is physical therapy to try to get these women some help with strengthening their musculature.
Here I was, just minding my own business, when I was contacted about a new machine called The Pelvic Trainer.
You could say that “skepticism” is my middle name when it comes to new diets, exercises, and supplements which miraculously improve your health. I rarely believe the commercials, fads and testimonials of the newest internet promotions.
I watched the on-line videos for The Pelvic Trainer, and all I got out of it was that I wanted my abdomen to look like the girl who was working out on it (knowing that I would never look like that).
I also reviewed several “Electromyography Studies” – EMGs – that were done on patients during a workout with The Pelvic Trainer; they were impressive.
I then got on The Pelvic Trainer myself. What do I love about this machine? First, I love the fact that it is a totally “no-impact machine.
With the majority of my patients being over the age of 60, I was impressed by the fact that it is low to the ground, safe to get on, and has handles to hold on to. It moves your body gently and it is all powered by the patient.
Second, it is easy to get started and just takes a few minutes to “get it going.” The pace is what you set it for.
Lastly, I am flabbergasted by the strength improvement in my back and hips. This is so important for menopausal women to keep their back and hips in good shape. The musculature of our lower backs, hips, and pelvic floor is very difficult to exercise.
With The Pelvic Trainer, we have the solution. Someone much wiser than me said, “We enter the world through the brim of the pelvis, but we are frequently taken out of the world by the neck of the femur.”
I believe that The Pelvic Trainer is the solution to exercising those muscle groups that until now, were only able to be isolated with a pelvic floor physical therapist. The potential for help with stress and urge incontinence, flexibility, mobility, and most importantly (to this gynecologist…) keeping sexually active into our later years is profound. The Pelvic Trainer will be a game changer for my patients.
Pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) is a global health/quality of life problem affecting millions worldwide and comprises a broad range of problems such as urinary incontinence, painful sex, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder and chronic prostatitis for men.
As a urologist and after using The Pelvic Trainer for several months, I believe this equipment is a game changer for improving the quality of life for millions of people with pelvic floor dysfunction (prevalence increases with age).
Engaging pelvic floor muscles with The Pelvic Trainer can also serve as a prevention to the aging pelvic floor, therefore preventing dysfunction or incontinence (like Botox preventing wrinkles).
The Pelvic trainer is becoming an efficient tool in the treatment and prevention of stress urinary incontinence (SUI), a frequent urological problem in the female population. The effect of the rotating motion using the pelvic muscles promotes strengthening of these structures. This corrects the weakness of the pelvic floor muscles, improving bladder prolapse, therefore alleviating this prevalent condition.
What our clients say
I am currently a patient of Dr. Jose Echeverria. I am writing regarding the Pelvic trainer that I have been privileged to use. This product has great potential to help many like myself.
I’ve had to visit the doctor’s office many times due to constant Urinary Tract Infections. The underlying problem, that I did not want to address, was that I had developed urinary incontinence. This was causing me to constantly keep infections and constantly being on antibiotics for this is not a good thing. Most women are reserved about addressing this issue and I was no different. However, I was weary with the UTI problem, so when he suggested I should see a Urologist and maybe try the Pelvic trainer, I was ready.
I started working out on the machine two to three days a week. Within two weeks, I could already tell a difference. I, also noticed, I could hold my urine longer than usual. I kept using the machine until one day I noticed, no more incontinence. This has been a game changer for me. I haven’t even had a UTl since using this machine.
I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to experience this life changing machine and I highly recommend it to anyone facing the problems I had. Clinics and Urologists need this for their patients.
I am a mother of three and in my mid 30’s. I have tried several exercise machines over the years and none have really kept me interested for very long. The Pelvic trainer has made so many changes in my life. Not only has my stubborn belly fat melted away, but surprisingly it has made so many changes inside my body. After giving birth to three children I had to be careful when I coughed, sneezed and laughed too hard, because I would have those annoying little leaks and have to go change my clothes. About 6 weeks after I started using this machine the worry is gone and I have so much more self-confidence. I am so thankful to have come across this product it has literally changed my life.
My name is Jennifer Shepherd I am 52 years old mother of 3 and grandmother of 6 . After having my children I began to experience “bladder accidents”. These accidents became worse with time despite having an active lifestyle and using exercise machines like a treadmill or elliptical bicycle. I even tried Kegel exercises but this are hard to do and somewhat embarrassing.
These bladder accidents were a real problem and I kept them from my family and friends. When I mention this problem to my GYN was told that surgery was the only option. I was very aware of the disaster that the famous mesh implant produced too many women and didn’t want to go that route. There was a moment that I began to use diapers and special pads to deal with this problem.
Two years ago I began to use the “Pelvic trainer” I began using it to control my weight; reduce fat content and shrink my waist size.
In fact I reduced my body fat by 20 % and my waist size by 10 %. I was very happy with these results. Nevertheless after a few weeks I also began to realize that my embarrassing “bladder accidents” were less and less severe. After 2 months I had no bladder accidents whatsoever.
I began to ask my female friends that were also using the Pelvic trainer about this improvement of the pelvis floor muscles reducing the stress urinary incontinence in females. To my surprise all my friends already experience a significant improvement in SUI.
Having pelvic floor strength using the “Pelvic trainer” completely eliminated my bladder accidents besides giving me the opportunity to be healthier person and a better wife.
